About the event

4 Week Short Course: Introduction to Cyanotype


Who is this for?  

This course is suitable for people ages 18+ 


In this course, you will learn all the steps required to create cyanotype prints from the preparation of the chemistry to the creation of images using mainly pressed flowers, leaves and found objects. You will play with design and arrangement to create your personal prints. You will use UV lamps to fixate the print. You will also have a chance to experiment with wet cyanotype techniques using turmeric, white vinegar and soap suds. At the end of the course, you will leave with a range of prints, your own cyanotypes.

This course is for anyone who enjoys nature. No experience is necessary, just be willing to learn.


When: Fridays 20th & 27th February,  6th & 13th March 2026

Time: 12pm - 3pm

Where: Skoulding Suite (upstairs with a lift available) at March Town Hall, Market Place, PE15 9JF


All sessions are Free of charge. You must commit to attend all dates.
