About Fen Bridges
Fen Bridges is a new programme developed by artists Alan Seiglow & Karen Avilez, designed to support community members accessing creative and cultural places across the East of England. As part of our pilot series, we are delighted to invite you on our next day trip on Thursday 26th February.
Join us on a guided tour of National Trust Peckover House & Gardens followed by an afternoon at Wisbech & Fenland Museum to see the Market Place Arts ‘Centre Stage’ photography exhibition alongside exploring the main collection. This trip includes your bus fares plus a year valid entry ticket to the Wisbech & Fenland Museum.
When: Thursday 26th February, meeting at 9:15 am.
Where: meeting point at March Fountain, Broad St, March PE15 8TH
Time: 9:15 am, returning at 4:30 pm
YOU MUST BOOK TO ATTEND.
For those travelling with us from March, we will be meeting at March Fountain at 9:15am, aiming to catch the 9:30am bus. For those joining us from Wisbech or elsewhere we will be at Peckover House from 10:30am.
As part of the visit we will also pay for your travel up to a day return train or bus ticket from your town of departure - Whittlesey, Manea, Chatteris, etc. Please make Alan & Karen aware by emailing: creativefenlandinfo@gmail.com
We’ll supply you with a sketch pad/or note pad for you to draw or write. We’ll have sketching materials available.
PLEASE NOTE:
Limited spaces, please book in advance
Each participant gets a sketchpad & drawing/writing materials provided for the day.
Fen Bridges will cover travel costs, including a day return bus ticket from your town of departure: March, Manea, Whittlesey, etc.
You must bring your own pack lunch, snacks & water. Charged phone.
Food available for purchase at Peckover House & Gardens Cafe.
We advise wearing comfortable footwear and warm clothing/layers.
This event is Free of charge. You must commit to attend after booking.
