This event is Free to everyone ages 18+
Artists Moots are open to artists and creators from Fenland District and just over the border to join us for connection & community.
Following the success of our previous events and the need of spaces for artists and creators to network, we decided to make our Moots a recurrent event!
For February, we’re taking the Artists Moot online to reach artists and creatives who may not have been able to join us in person at our recent gatherings.
Join us Wednesday 25th February, 6:30–8:00pm for a relaxed virtual evening bringing together artists and creatives from the Fens and neighbouring areas. It’s a space to connect, share local opportunities, and hear what’s happening across our creative communities.
We’re delighted to be joined by artist Dan Donovan, one of the original driving forces behind Creative Fenland. Dan has been commissioned by a host of arts organisations, Learning & Libraries, Ashfield Creates, Cambridge Community Arts, Market Place Arts, Eastlands Mental Health Rehab and many others. Dan will share reflections on his experiences working in community arts across Cambridgeshire and Nottinghamshire.
You’re welcome to participate however you feel comfortable whether camera on or off, just listening or actively joining the conversation. No pressure.
Bring your own refreshments and settle in for a friendly evening of conversation and connection.

We listened and read your questions and feedback left during our previous Moots, so please join us to pick on those topics that were raised.
We also have very exciting news to share regarding our future as Creative Fenland and how we are working to support artists with their creative ideas.
A huge step for artists is the sense of belonging in an artist community where collaboration is always a creative opportunity.
